About Angela
Angela is a development & fundraising professional with a Master's of Nonprofit Management from Hamline University.

She has a long background in for-profit management and professional writing. Her strengths include: staff leadership & development, project management, written communication, grant writing, strategizing & executing fundraising plans, and cultivating & stewarding donor relationships.
​
Angela's passion for writing centers around wildlife and conservation. She has won 13 San Diego Press Club Excellence in Journalism awards between 2015-2021.
​
She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls with a Bachelor's in English Literature and minors in German and Professional Writing. She has a certificate in Nonprofit Marketing and Strategic Communications from Arizona State University.

Angela currently works as the Community Giving Manager for Minnesota Housing Partnership and writes for the Ramona Home Journal network of publications.

Her work has appeared in the Twin Cities Pioneer Press, Hop Culture Magazine, Verileet Magazine, The Coast News Group, Minnesota Women's Press, MotorHome Magazine, and The Herald Journal.
​
Angela also writes fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. In her free time, you can find her reading, kayaking, hiking, and spending time with her dogs.
